General Policies
ATTENDANCE
Students or parents are asked to email or call in all absences. There are no makeup classes, credits, or refunds for missed classes.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS
Occasionally we must cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, or emergencies. Every effort will be made to reschedule the canceled class within a reasonable amount of time.
EAOD is closed for snow/inclement weather when the Pennsbury School District is closed. There are no makeup classes or refunds for inclement weather closings.
RECITAL
Our annual recital is held in June each year. Our recital consists of three acts: Act 1 (Recital Dances), Act 2 (Recital Dances) and Act 3 (Production/Finale). The Recital changes each year, but it is a show that is appealing to viewers if all ages.
Adult dancers are not required to participate in recital unless they are signed up for a performance class.
DRESS CODE
It is important that our dancers are dressed professionally and appropriately for classes. Dress code and hair requirements are strictly enforced.
Hair must be pulled back in tight, secure fashion for all classes. Hair must be pulled back and out of your face for all dance classes.
Shoes must be worn for all classes. Required footwear for all classes. Please see uniform information.
All student classes (18 and under) will be required to wear a studio uniform to class. This will be strictly enforced.
PLEASE REFER TO THE HANDBOOK FOR MORE SPECIFIC DRESS REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH CLASS.
Tuition
For our 10 month program, tuition due the first of every month and can either be paid with cash, check, venmo (EAODance) or credit card. Each family will hold a credit card on file with the studio as a back up form of payment if no payment is recieved by the 5th of the month. Checks should be made out to Eileen’s Academy of Dance. You will receive a statement in your Jackrabbit portal on the15th of the month prior to the bill being due. More tuition details can be found in the handbook.
Late Fee:
All payments received past the 10th of each month will incur a $25 late fee. This will be enforced. All returned checks will incur a $45 return fee.
Costume Payments:
Costume payments are due in the second month after registration. Costumes will arrive between April and May.
There are no refunds for costume deposits for any reason.
