Dr. Mani began learning Indian Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam) at the age of three under the tutelage of Padmini Ramachandran. After receiving her dance diploma from the Padmini Institute of Fine Arts she started teaching, choreographing and staging Bharatanatyam dance recitals. After college, Mani got her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology. In 2008 she again devoted herself to dance and started teaching. She is very passionate about dance and loves teaching and sharing the joy of dance with her students. Dr. Mani is very excited to find a kindred spirit in Miss Eileen and to partner Manimekalai Dance and Arts with Eileen’s Academy of Dance.
